UK's largest independent wiring, interconnect & system solution provider
AQ Wiring Systems Rockford is the UK’s largest independent provider of wiring, interconnect and system solutions for the defence, aerospace, marine and nuclear industries.
Since 1978, AQ Wiring Systems Rockford has successfully addressed the high-reliability and increasingly competitive market worldwide, achieving controlled growth in that time whilst engaged in many significant projects. We have designed and manufactured wire harnesses, looms, control panels, electrical components and cable assemblies from across our UK facilities.
AQ Wiring Systems Rockford’s engineering-driven approach to wiring harness & cable assembly design and manufacturing delivers a cost-effective and high quality solution to meet your requirements through the life of the product.
Working in partnership with customers allows AQ Wiring Systems Rockford to provide you with a first class service.
AQ Wiring Systems Rockford has grown over the years through strategic acquisition of companies in the industry, which has strengthened and broadened its capabilities. These companies have now been incorporated into AQ Wiring Systems Rockford.
A notable acquisition was CLS Wiring Systems 2000 Ltd., which specialised in the design and manufacture of automotive military cable harnesses, ranging from heavy-duty power applications to high-temperature engine applications, using both conduit and heat-shrinkable products.
AQ Wiring Systems Rockford also purchased the business of the former Woven Electronics, based in Wilton near Salisbury. Woven Electronic Components Ltd. offered a total interconnect package, from the engineering and design of basic cable assemblies to over-moulded assemblies. As the originator and leader of woven cable technology, Woven Electronics offered a wide range of woven cables to meet the increasing needs of today’s customers.
We now have offices in Salisbury, Wiltshire, in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, the headquarters in Rendlesham, Suffolk.
