See Rockford at the Dubai Airshow in November 2017

Rockford is exhibiting at the Dubai Airshow this November, and we’d love to see plenty of customers and aviation enthusiasts at our stand.

The event is to be held at the DWC from Sunday 12th to Thursday 16th November this year, with opening times from 10am to 5:30pm. We’ll be at stand 1766.

The Dubai Airshow has helped lead change in the aviation industry by creating a world class exhibition, showcasing military, general and commercial aviation.

In 2015, the Dubai Airshow had 1,103 exhibitors from 63 countries, and over 66,346 trade visitors.

This year is set to be even bigger than 2015, as the Dubai Airshow 2017 will feature 1,200 exhibitors from over 60 countries, over 160 aircraft on display, and new areas such as the UAS Summit and Airport Solutions.

Managing Director of show organiser Tarsus F&E LLC FZE Middle East, Michele van Akelije, expects this year’s flying display to be very popular.

Michele says, “The flying display at the Dubai Airshow is always a popular feature with exhibitors and visitors alike. 2017 will of course be no exception”.

Aerobatics displays at this year’s airshow include J10As, Sukhoi SU30Ms, Aermacchi MB-339NATs, the TAI T129 attack helicopter, plus Motor Sich Mil 2 and Mil 8 models. A number of military aircraft will be demonstrating also, with a US Airforce F16, UAE Mirage 2000, French Airforce Dassault Rafale and a Taqnia AN132.

The flying display will feature between 2pm and 5pm each day of the show.
